We are looking for a talented and passionate Senior PR and Content Executive to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of journalism or PR experience, whether that is in an in-house role or for multiple clients at an agency, and be able to hit the ground running, writing press releases, blogs and articles from day one and confidently liaise directly with clients.
Successful applicants must:
- Be able to manage multiple clients and projects at the same time
- Be an experienced copywriter
- Have proofreading experience
- Have exceptional attention to detail
- Be able to produce a high standard of copy from written or verbal briefs
- Be confident in carrying out telephone or Teams interviews and using the information to create compelling copy
- Be able to create copy for specific audiences and publications/media – for example press releases, SEO-friendly blogs and website copy, opinion pieces, magazine features and social media posts
- Be creative and able to think outside the box when it comes to content ideas and PR campaigns
- Be confident in pitching story ideas to journalists and editors
Experience of Canva, WordPress and Sprout Social would be an advantage.
Duties will include:
- Writing press releases, blogs, articles and other content
- Working with other members of the team to produce a bi-monthly business magazine
- Managing own client accounts and attending regular client meetings
- Coming up with ideas for PR campaigns and implementing them with support from the team
- Creating PR strategies for clients
- Pitching to the media
- Briefing photographers and videographers
- Attending client events
- Writing award entries

Location: Hybrid. Office is based near Lamport Hall, NN6 9HF. Candidate must be willing to work in the office every Thursday as this is our team day.
Job type: Full-time or part-time. Working hours are open to discussion.
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 depending on experience (pro rata for part time).
