We are looking for a talented and passionate Social Media Executive to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have at least two year’s social media management experience, whether that is in an in-house role or for multiple clients at an agency. Alternatively those who have recently graduated from a related degree, such as marketing, digital marketing or digital PR will also be considered.
Ballyhoo PR is a growing, award-winning PR agency with many valued clients who cover a wide range of industries between them, including retail, construction, healthcare, travel and business to business services.
The Social Media Executive will be expected to carry out the following duties:
Create engaging social media posts for clients including static graphics, animations, Tik Toks, Stories and Reels
Manage the customer journey for our social media clients from meetings and content generation through to approval and monthly reports
Respond to comments and messages on behalf of our clients
Devise social media strategies
Stay on top of social media trends
Liaise with other members of the team to create joined up PR campaigns
Video editing and photography
Design static posts using Canva or Adobe
Be able to manage multiple clients and projects at the same time
Write engaging copy
Have a high standard of English
Have exceptional attention to detail
Be able to produce a high standard of copy from written or verbal briefs
Be creative and able to think outside the box when it comes to content ideas
Have experience of using the following social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn (business pages and personal profiles), Tik Tok and Twitter
Experience of Canva and Sprout Social would be an advantage.

Job type: Full-time or part-time for the right candidate. Working hours are open to discussion. As is location (remote or office). All we ask is that the candidate works in the office every Thursday as this is our team working day.
Salary: £21,000 – £23,000 depending on experience (pro rata for part time).
